Sunday, December 21. Light Rain. 7 C
Time is running short for us and the busy Christmas and New Years activities have yet to start but at this point, all seems to be on course.
Around this time I am beginning to think about what we are looking forward to aboard the ship and also, what we may possibly miss while away from home
What we are looking forward to:
- The throb of the engines that we both just love.
- Laying in bed or on the balcony with the first coffee of the day.
- Casual breakfasts on Sea days.
- Fellette is looking forward to some after dinner entertainment, me, not so much.
- Reading on the bed and nodding off every so often. [Doug]
- Getting e-mails from home.
- Upcoming Lectures.
- Fellette, No cooking.
- Craft sessions.
- Walking the deck at our pace.
- Fellette enjoys the swimming pools before they get crowded.
- Meeting and talking with strangers, when we feel like doing that.
What we will miss:
- Peace and quiet.
- Seeing our Family.
- Plain food, not over salted and rich.
- Good internet connection.
- Fellette Choir practice. [They may have a Ship's Choir.]
- Fellette, exercise classes. [The ones on the ship can be regimented without the social activity with closer friends like at home.]
- Driving my car! [Doug]
- Did I say plain food?
