Venice....

Yesterday we had a grandstand view of the city as we sailed in around 10.00 AM. The pictures below were taken before we even got off the ship. Our balcony was a little crowded and it was a bit chilly out but, what a view!











Interestingly we sailed right by our Hotel that we spent five days in last May [it was a bit warmer then] with friends Ian and Judy of the UK.


PS if you think the weather is tough at home, Ian just mentioned this morning that in the London area they just recently had the heaviest snow of the winter.

Today we are still in Venice and will take a trip out to the island of Murano where the glass blowing industry is situated.
