A day at sea, and that is a good thing for me. I have this terrible cough that seems to erupt when I am around people for more than 15 minutes. I awoke to a coughing spell and after that settled down I thought that I could venture from the room to have breakfast with the Cutler's. After a reasonable time I had to excuse myself and get to the room to clear my throat.
Lunch went OK and so I decided to take in a lecture. That was fine for 1/2 hour then I had to leave and get to my cabin: who would want to be near a hacking person that sounded like he was choking to death?
So, reading on our deck and in the cabin, watching movies and news was my main activity today. I am getting a little annoyed with the situation but I cannot think of a better place to nurse a cold. Also, I am not going to get a lot of sympathy from my readers, I know that.
It is a little tough on my much younger wife who reminds me that "I had the cough". The heck she did, she had something for ONE DAY!
Sorry not to have a riveting report and exciting pictures today folks. It just goes to show that life on a cruise ship is not always a bed of roses. I have no idea what we will be up to in Brisbane tomorrow or if I will even get off. It is not really an exciting place to visit but I would rather be in good health any day no matter how dull the port.
