Posted from Vancouver Airport at 12:34 PM.
Of course we were awake very early as I wanted to be up to say goodbye to grandson Nathan before he left for work at 5:30. (Choke.)
The rest of the morning was a blur of activity and a lot of brain-rattling minor last minute stuff to take care of.
Eventually we made it to sister Moe's place, got loaded there and off we go...
The airport formalities are as good as you can expect nowadays and in reality it went smooth. The biggest issue I had was holding my pants up without my belt going through security.
We are now in the Air France lounge sipping a glass of wine, after all, it is 9:00 PM in Budapest. A bite to eat and soon we were seated in our seats and after a glass of French Champagne, we were whisked off to our first destination of this long day, 1/3 of the way around the world, Paris. What a world we live in.
(At least that is what I expect to happen!).
Welcome to Budapest........Have fun. Your challenge is to find the Flag with the hole in it and to tell us what it is all about. Cheers. Rod.
