Why in the heck are we leaving here with this beautiful weather. Darn, it should have been pouring rain, damp, dingy and downright depressing. Instead it is a beautiful Autumn, Indian Summer we call it.
It seems such a long time ago that we left on a trip, and it was, about 18 months ago. I do not remember being so edgy then, not sure why the concern now. Our grandson, Nathan, is looking after the place, all the outside water is shut off and all of my concerns have been addressed and the tomatoes are basically harvested except there is lots for neighbours. You may not believe this, but we planned the timing of this vacation around the garden: when the tomatoes are done, it is time to go on an autumn break.
My mind now goes to the next phase: the getting to the airport and checking in, is it going to be OK, I sure hope so, we will not have hours to wait and may or may not be in a lounge, but that is not really an issue. I am really looking forward to getting on the plane and finally in a seat. Then, our vacation really starts!!!
There will be inconveniences tomorrow, and the next few days and all the time I am sure, but why complain and who will listen to you? If you want everything perfect, stay home.
It crosses my mind as to whether I should memorise a few verses of the Koran, or get an Arabic Phrase Book, only $12.15 on Amazon. care[Just kidding.]
Tonight, Nathan sleeps here, and leaves for work at 5:30, at 9:15 AM, we leave here to pick up sister Moe and off we go on a Grand Adventure and the home is in the tender loving care of Nathan.
See you tomorrow folks, from somewhere, I know not where, but likely not too far from home methinks.

Hungarian time is nine hours ahead of Vancouver time, six hours ahead of eastern time. So if I publish at around 9:00 PM Hungarian time, that is noon in Vancouver. Man, that is nine hours of jet lag to get over. I will be falling asleep at lunch and then dinner time for days!
Tell me again why we are leaving this please!
