Friday, February 21. Cloudy, smoggy.
Up early looking for coffee which I found about the same time as the Tai Chi class started up on the sun deck. I did the good- husband thing and started down the steep stairs to Fellette while I gulped the first cup and joined the class up top.
Boy did that feel great to stretch and move those joints and muscles and ligaments in a slow deliberate way. I really should dig out all the info and CD's I have and have the discipline to do it at home.
Next was another cup of coffee before we took the tender to one of those islands and climbed all 400+ steps to the tower at the top, and back down.
Soon we were on the tender and back to the ship for breakfast as the ship headed towards shore to disembark us.
Slick transfer to the buses and head to the airport where we stopped at a Golf Club for a well deserved leisurely lunch.
Soon enough we were at the airport in Hanoi and reconnected with our main luggage and our guide ended out our passports with boarding passes and Cambodian entrance and exit documents all filled out.
Through security and to the gate, boarded and take off. I am writing this in the air and hope to get it in some semblance of order before we land sooner than I had hoped for.
I just finished wolfing down an airline meal. A few items looked familiar which I tasted and then ate, a few were put aside after a nibble. I don't think we will worry about one meal missing.
Not quite sure how the internet connection will be at the hotel later but I will dash this off and then try some photos taken yesterday. That may take longer than it should but I am up to the challenge methinks.
We are here for three nights, the day tomorrow looks pretty busy and then the next day we are up at 4:00 AM to go to Angkor Wat for the sunrise. [???]
A good day today, even though it is another blurry travel-day. I don't mind it because everything is an adventure in a foreign country, and foreign airlines serving unknown foods.
Lets see how the internet is here in The Kingdom of Cambodia!
