I had a very early morning run to the clinic for a regular blood test, this one requiring me to fast for 10-12 hours. The lack of coffee after being up for a while was overcome by standing in line at -4 C to get a head start on the later risers. I needn't have worried: the icy roads kept people away in droves.
The morning ended with a quick trip to CTI, then home where Fellette uttered the words "We are packed!" Good to hear. My very wonderful wife actually prefers, almost insists, that she pack all the cases when travelling. We discuss it and lay out the clothes and then she tucks them into such compact sizes that there is no wasted space. She leaves the electronics and such to me.
We are travelling light again, one small case with wheels and a small rucksack each and that is it. We probably have as much by weight in electronics, cameras, chargers, cables, and medicines as we have in actual clothing.
I am doing the blog on my travel computer so that when I am 8000 kilometres from Craig, my technical expert, there should not be any distress screams heard.
I have noticed over the years that communications have vastly improved so I am hopeful of decent internet connections.
Neat as a pin. They could likely go as carry on but we usually check them.
What could go wrong eh?
