Before we left home somebody asked if I would be showing pictures of the cabin and describing it. So, by popular demand here goes.
It is small! No complaints, but smaller than last time, which was smaller than the times before. It is long and narrow. Upon entering there is a hallway about 10 feet long with closets on one side and the bathroom on the right side.
Our 'bedroom' is a King Size bed, [two twins together], and very, very comfortable. There are bedside tables beside both sides. The controls for the lights and TV are on the headboard. The room looks larger because of a very large mirror extending the entire width of the room. I guess mirrors are less expensive than increased footage.
After passing through the hall and bedroom you come to our sitting area. A full size leather sofa on one side with a full length desk/bureau/TV stand on the other side with a coffee table in the middle. Tight and cozy but fine. It also has a small refrigerator in it. I have taken over the desk for my computer area, which is bigger than my home workspace.
Next is the 'sitting area' which opens to a balcony the full width of the cabin and about 6-7' feet deep. The balcony is to me worth the extra money. Most regular cabins are about the same size as ours but without balconies. We also get a few extra little bits and pieces to help justify the hefty price difference.
The bathroom is also small but entirely functional. Tub with shower, single basin, w/c, and cupboards more than adequate for us. Plus a very nice built in hair dryer. Fortunately the bathroom does not photograph well!
Pictures show Fellette at breakfast, then her reading on one side of the balcony, then my computer station, [with extra keyboard!], then a shot down from entrance to the ocean outside, and lastly a bit of our 'bedroom'.
That is it folks...our cabin on the seas for three months!
