I have capitulated...

Yes, I have overcome my guilt feeling and now have no guilt about having a completely unproductive day. It is an unashamed luxury to be able to curl up with a book in your cabin, read two pages and close your eyes. The rocking of the ship, with the odd creak or shudder when a large wave hits somehow adds to the Rip Van Winkle atmosphere.

We do not have outdoor deck activities because of the chill, wind, sprinkles and this morning, I swear it was snow when I got caught outside for a few minutes. There are no 'out-door BBQs' or bands playing during lunch outside. All of this and the low cloud/mist is conducive to very restful cruising. There are a few die-hard walkers doing laps on a very small walking deck: 13 times around equals one mile. Parkas and heavy clothing are in order outside.

This morning, after a port talk, I took my camera and wandered about photographing interesting bits and pieces of the interior of the ship. Fellette was playing scrabble and Ian and Judy were reading.

Ladies and Gentleman may I present the Tahitian Princess in the Denmark Strait...
