Rural England...

Another lazy day has passed for us. After a grueling day of lawn bowls yesterday, where Ian and I beat our opponents, soundly,

I slept the best sleep since leaving home three weeks ago. Mind you it was helped by the fact that our new home plans arrived for us to look over.

Today was another tough day: This morning we retrieved Hercules, the tortoise from his rest home, and then this afternoon we had a BBQ in celebration of Ian's birthday.

Son and girlfriend attended the BBQ. This is the first time we have met him, he is a very pleasant and entertaining young man with his father's quick wit. Respecting privacy, I will not go further into details.

When we do our runabouts in the area, Ian will go out of the way to swing by some areas and homes that are about as English as you can get.

I am not able to use my computer and it takes forever with my present method so I will have to revert to Craig doing it for me, sorry Craig. I will ask Craig to insert some more photos here, it is too beautiful not to share.
