Simple day: Coffee at 5:45, iPad for news, granola on the deck before heading for the Saturday Market. Then after a 1/2 hour drive home, beach time, lunch, scrabble, a walk before dinner, BBQ the Maui Ribs, some TV and bang, the end of another beautiful day here.
This, and while on a cruise, is one of the few places that I/we, can really relax. There is no workshop to go out to, no chores around the house to do, no Canada Ticket to visit. It could be terrible if I did not have a goal, and that is to relax and unwind, knowing that the time is short and we will soon be back in the old grind! At home, I personally have a guilt feeling if I have not accomplished something productive, or better yet, built something. To me, going for a walk is what you do when you are absolutely bored out of your skull. Yet, I feel better after a walk and I know that it is good for the body, and the soul.
The Farmer's Market and Swap Meet in Kahului, every Saturday morning.

Heading for the beach after shopping. Nice, no snakes, crawlers, bugs or even thorns.
There seems to be a more abundance of birds here now. No predators could be one reason.
There is now a flight of escapee budgies tin the complex hat we have seen this trip. Last time was only were the odd pair to be seen.
This gives you some idea of the weather we are forced to endure.
We had a long chat with this painter. From Alberta, worked in construction and the oilfields but all his life his passion has been painting.
Saturday and Sunday is Beach Day for local families. It takes the place of our Sunday Dinners that many families have back home.
My stair challenge today.
