Thursday, January 8. Clear blue sky, calm seas. 22 C.
Fellette had a so-so night, as I did. She did get up once, alone, and back in on her own, but not without some serious pain. I think that she is now expecting serious pain with certain movements. and can take it. As she says, "It only hurts when I breath." That does not make for a jovial person or a jovial companion. I am however happy that there appears to be no hidden or long lasting consequences. Every once in a while she asks me, "I wonder if they caught that guy?"
We went to see the doctor this afternoon regarding the Shoreside, [Miami] doctor's report on Fellette's chest injury. It's All Good News! the final report is that my Child Bride only has bruising from the seat belt, nothing broken or even fractured. So, hopefully she has to recover from soft tissue bruising, no bones to heal. We will find out in the days ahead how long before the pain from breathing disappears.
It seems to be too good to be true after what we have experienced in the last seven days. We have not even begun to think what we will do for the next 86 days, we will see how Fellette' pain level is.
Excellent Day.
