Friday, January 2. Rain Coming. 6 C.
Well, we are leaving this part of the world and heading for warmer climes. Tonight we are at the Fairmont Hotel at Vancouver Airport, compliments of our Travel Agent of 30 years, Edward Infanti.
Today was not without incidence, far from it. Yesterday afternoon we were involved in a Hit and Run with our Toyota Pickup truck, while sitting at a traffic light some idiot travelling a million miles an hour hit us broadsides. My driver side airbag went off, next thing I saw was a young fleet-footed dark brown man running for the boonies. Five hours later we were released from the Emergency Department at the local hospital.
All of our kids came to see us as the circumstances of the collision were sparse at first. Wally was with us all the time. A few hours in an Emergency Ward is an interesting way to spend an evening. I have no injuries but Fellette suffered what is called soft-tissue seat belt injuries. We suspect the truck is a write-off.
Tonight we are at Vancouver Airport Hotel, ready for new adventures tomorrow.
See you tomorrow in San Diego.

Oh wow, so glad you both were not seriously injured !.... and are on the cruise. Impressed that you travel quite lightly...those suitcases are not the big ones.
