On the Train at Last...

Friday, August 17. Beautiful summer day.

Good sleep, packed up, down to breakfast and with our bags to the bus and on  the road by 9:30.

It has been another very long day for us. This time we got to  The Kremlin which is an area around Red Square and St. Basil's interesting domed churches.

The day was a bit long as the local guide did her job in telling us about every spire and dome as we seemed to do an endless parade of old churches and cathedrals as we wiled away the time before getting to the train station.

I personally have stopped taking pictures until I get to the damn train!

Loads of pics today but I only had 15 minutes to put this together we pull out in6 minutes, see you somewhere along the line, I hope.

The waiting room at the station. A glass of Russian Champagne in a plastic flute and all aboard.

Russian do you think?

In the waiting room.

Nice compartment, small compartment.
