We are now in our room for the night in San Diego. The trip so far has been less than easy. It is almost as if this trip was not meant to happen. First, the Hit and Run thing two days before we were to leave the house. This morning, at the airport, 20 minutes before we were to board the plane to San Diego, I got a call from the Langley Hospital, where we spent the afternoon and evening having Fellette X-rayed for a chest injury when the damn driver of the hit and run injured my wife. The Dr. advised us that he wants Fellette to have a CT Scan as he is concerned about any tissue damage done behind the 3mm fracture that they detected on a further examination of the original X-ray.
I turned this over to our son Wally, who is pretty cool at solving problems. By the time we got to San Diego, Wally had searched out three imaging clinics in Honolulu, [where we are for two full days.] Our wish list is that before we sail from Honolulu we will know if we are going to have a six day cruise or a 93 day cruise! I shall not complain about the costs of Trip Interruption Insurance or Out of Country Medical Insurance again.
Room Service tonight and let's see what the morrow brings!
All is Well.

O M G - Fellette - you look lovely and happy and smiling
ReplyDeleteI hope you are not in pain.
Doug - your Sweetheart IS, who knows her, our Sweetheart too.
Our fingers are crossed that Fellette is intact and able to continue the journey. Love as always, the Halls
