A Long Time To Get Here....

Sunday, January 1. Very hot in Fort Lauderdale.

   Nothing but travel for us today, absolutely nothing at all. It was a grinder but we are now safely ensconced in our Hotel for two nights. Remember please that when we booked the flights  we allowed a day of fudge for bad weather in Vancouver. Of course we got great weather, what else.

   Today was nothing but getting up, getting to the airport, security, checking in and waiting. Then a five hour sit down on the plane, then a one hour wait for a shuttle to the airport, then a bit of a wait till we checked out our room and went down for a drink and dinner. That in itself was a bit mixed up. We ate at the bar as they were short staffed as nobody wanted to work on New Year's Day! We did OK, remember you can never complain on a Travel Day!

   We hope to meet with the Cutlers tomorrow,to do a bit of shopping for supplies that cannot be put in your carry on and fly with you.

A Good Travel Day...

Last Night's Hotel in Seattle.

On the plane today: One drink, I dozed the rest of the time. We appear to have gotten dehydrated with so much time in air-conditioned situations.
