We had a great sleep, possibly as a result of the sun during the day or just the long tour yesterday. We have decided to try and resist the urge to go ashore today. It is a bit of a hard choice to make as we have paid good money to be here and it seems that we should be out looking at something exotic rather than sitting on the ship reading or snoozing. I suppose I could make the stateroom into a mess and throw litter around the place and then sit in it to simulate shoreside conditions.
Seriously, we all are looking forward to Mumbai, [I think], it was disappointing for me to see and portray Goa the way I did yesterday. There were a few circumstances that turned me off yesterday. [But it really was like that!]

Somebody reminded me today that I often get grumpy near the end of a cruise as I have had enough and want to get on with disembarking and getting home: fast! It appears that I have reached that stage. I want to get on with the next adventure: Morocco!
Morocco is short in duration, 14 days which is in 11 different town/cities. It is a lot of travelling in a van and different hotels but at least we are our own group, and control our own destiny to some extent and at this point in the game we are able to move about with some degree of dexterity.
Tomorrow we come into Mumbai late morning which translates to about 10:00 AM. Us Four intend to walk off the ship, walk to the port gate, hire a cab and take us to Crawford Market which is a large market that we visited some years ago and revelled in the hustle-bustle in the large covered building, it was the most exciting and colourful market we have ever visited. It is very basic in there, particularly in the butcher area, certainly not for the feint at heart.
We then intend to wander the streets in the market area in search of interesting shops. We have a few items on our shopping list, particularly Jim. After that we head to the Taj Hotel for lunch or tea, as we did before. After that, it depends upon how we feel to pursue other Bombay Delights or back to the ship for a good scrub again.
I am telling you our plan for the day in advance so you can see for yourselves how things turn out, and why they turned out that way. We are in Mumbai tomorrow morning, stay overnight, leaving the next day around noon. After that we have Porbandar which will be the last port in India.
A week from today today we are in Dubai, so we have to make the most of it as we will not likely be back to India: Fellette says 'No More'. The Red Tape to get the visas is very frustrating and she also does not take kindly to the living conditions in the big cities. We will see.
A map showing where we are. It is rather clumsy but you get the point. Dubai is at the end of the pencil line when we head west [left] from India. A two day sail.
The bow of the ship and a headland in the harbour. The sky shows up bluer than it really is, there is a constant smog here.
Our view for two days. The tents are at the bottom of the gangway and are to protect the attendants down there and a bit of shade for a stop for a hand sanitize before re-boarding the ship.
Local boys again. Fishermen I assume.
Fellette checking to see if it was OK to sit out on the deck yet this afternoon. The answer was no.
Valentine's day in the lounge before dinner tonight, then the show, great Cabaret Singer.
