The time now, here is 6:30 AM, in Vancouver it is 2:30 PM.
My Blog posting time will change as we sail eastward and undergo another four time changes before we hit Dubai a month from now. It may appear I did not do a blog one day, depending upon what time you read the blog. I know there are some people who read it at a specific time each day, sorry in advance.
Yesterday was a sea day again, the fourth of 14 we will have on this trip. It was a busy time. Champagne for breakfast as upcoming Bali is the end of one 'Leg' of the cruise; from Cairns to Bali.
Us four had a walk up top, some for longer than others, I was the laggard! A port talk on Indonesia, then a lunch after which Jim and I had a Sauna. Nice experience, cold shower, in the sauna, then a cold shower, back in the sauna briefly before a short time in the steam room then a shower and out! Whew, squeaky clean.
The afternoon was filled with rehearsal and performance for Fellette and the Choir. They gave an absolutely wonderful performance for only have had seven one hour rehearsals. There are some wonderful singers on board, my wife is one of them!
Next we all got dolled up and went to the Captain's Farewell Cocktail Party which was about the most interesting we have seen he is quite the character, Finnish.
Down to dinner was next and then to the Crew Talent Show, great again. We put our clocks back one hour to 9:00 PM, read a bit and next thing we knew it was 6:00 AM sailing through some of the 7000 islands of Indonesia on the way to Komodo to see the dragons. No open wounds, menstruating women or red clothing today we were advised. [Really?]
Seafood Buffet today for lunch. We all forgot about salads for lunch and just indulged!
An edible display...
The display was about 40 feet long.
A steamy picture of Doug
I wiped the lens to catch hot and steamy Jim.
The Ukulele band, rather good actually.
Fellette and the Choir, she is third from left in the long red dress.
There she is in her smiling happy face! I was very proud of her.
We two...
Our ageless travelling companions. Jim's new Tux was very striking.
Rather than sit as a couple at a table for six we requested a table for two. Our ex table mates prefer to eat later and do not dress up. The seating arrangements will change at Bali
Beef Wellington for us tonight.
