New Year's Day. A half decent day.
We have a few more sleeps before we head off but did a little socializing today even though we are running out of time: the cases are packed and most things are taken care of now.
Today when we were visiting with friends Martin and Teri, Teri asked "Don't you get tired of travelling that long?" or words to that effect.
The answer is yes and no. When we are away, we enjoy every moment, because we are in a different world. There is always the sense of the unknown, or adventure, or apprehension. It is a completely different experience, and world, than when we are very comfortably situated at home in our cozy routine life. We look forward to home near the end of the trip for sure though.
Martin, Teri, Fellette and son Brandon. Teri expressed an interest in having raised vegetable garden beds in their garden, so that will be 'to-do' thing this spring: get the Sask's into raised beds!
