All At Sea Again...

Sunday, March 19. At sea, next port Angola. 22. C. Day 75.

Clocks went back one hour last night. We are now on Western European, [France, Germany etc.,] time and only one hour until we are on Greenwich Time.

For about the first time this trip I was up before Fellette this morning. Not for any specific reason, but just because I had enough sleep. After breakfast Fellette went to Choir Practice and I went to the Gym for my legs and upper arm workout, which I rather enjoy and look forward to.

I then popped down  to see Fellette in Church, which happened to be Communion today. The choir, including Fellette sang one song, which sounded great to me. It felt very good to be in a room with fellow believers and experience communion. The last time we took communion was in December 2019, before we left days later on the Fred Olsen cruise. It is impossible to explain to non-believers the feeling and importance of Communion, so I won’t.

For the last couple of weeks or so we have not been 'in the tropics’, we have just now sailed back 'into the tropics’, above the tropic of Capricorn and the weather is warming up, noticeably! We are in the tropics only for the next 15 days [April 3rd.] At that time  and place, [Canary Islands], our Tropical Cruise is over and we are in 'the temperate zone’, with whatever Europe weather has in store for us this spring.

Daughter Jeanette mentioned the other day that the 'Frogs were croaking’. At their hobby farm, there is a nearby low spot that is home to a large frog population. They are silent the majority of the year but come to life in the spring and start croaking to attract a mate. So, Spring Has Sprung, back at The Farm!

Between Frogs croaking to announce spring and the Tropic of Capricorn indicating warmer temperatures, isn’t the world an amazing place that will do what it usually does, until it doesn’t!

Fellette and I decided we wanted to have dinner out today so we went to The Pinnacle Grill for dinner inasmuch as our favourite place is several thousand miles away!

Another Sea Day tomorrow.

A Good Day…

Just us two!

No Green Flash tonight.
