Angola Tomorrow...

Monday, March 20. [Papa’s Birthday.]  Day 76. 27 C. Very smooth sailing, Angola is our destination at 5:00 am tomorrow.

We have a Shore Excursion booked but I may not be on it. It appears that there is a bit of an outbreak of Norovirus on the ship, which I have/had. I wont go into details.

Not to worry, I am over it  but confined to my cabin, awaiting some feed back from the Medical Staff regarding if I am good to go ashore tomorrow. I am very hopeful I will make it ashore. The ship has been very, very helpful on this situation.

Fellette is fine and will go on the excursion to Luanda, Angola, with Jim and Gail if I am unable to. It is a 3 1/2 hour experience so not too bad. Angola is apparently one of the most expensive cites in the world to live in but is still recovering from a 40 year civil war that ended  in 2002.

Some reports indicate that there is virtually no Tourism Infrastructure. That would make it a very interesting place to see. The country had an oil boom and its economy is tied to the ups and downs of oil prices.

Not My Best Day...

Notice to all passengers.

Chicken noodle soup lunch.

That guy looks fine to me.
